Domestic Ordinary Mail Unit Stamp x 2 and Domestic Registered Mail Unit Stamp x 3 on both sides, in total rate of Silver Yuan 55c (including 20c declaration fee), tied by East Szechuna Tatsu cds., along with Chungking arrival cds. and "Declaration" mark. 1% of declaration fee was charged within the same postal district. f.w. SYS Foochow surch Silver Yuan 2c x 5 and domestic ordinary mail unit stamp on reverse, tied by Foochow Hsiao Chiao Lu cds., along with Fukien Foochow transit and Shanghai arrival cds. After the liberation of Foochow on 17 Aug 1949, silver yuan postage was allowed for two weeks (Aug 17-Sep 1). Insufficient postage of 15c was paid on this cover (20c for domestic registered rate), but the delivery was still successful. Ex Mr. Patrick Choy's Collection.
