1949 (Dec 1) Chinese style cover from Liuchow to Shanghai, f.w. SYS Kwangsi surch Silver Yuan 5c, tied by Liuchow bilingual cds. On reverse with Hengyang transit and Shanghai arrival. Lichow was liberated on 25 Nov 1949, a rare usage of Kwangsi Silver Yuan stamp used after liberation. Ex Mr. Patrick Choy's Collection.
