1949 (Dec 7) Chinese style cover from West Szechuan Chukentan to Shangahi, f.w. East Szechwan 5c Silver Yuan, matching the domestic postage, tied by West Szechuan Chukentan cds., along with Chungking tranist, on front with Shanghai arrival cds. Chukentan was an Agency Office (Class 2C) - again a proof of the success of the "tri-preservation" policy at the agency level. Chukentan was liberated on Nov 11. This is a post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan.
