1949 (Dec 22) Chinese style cover from Kwangsi Paklow to Hong Kong,

f.w. SYS Kwangsi surch Silver Yuan 2c x 3, 5c and 13c x 3 on reverse, in total rate 50c, matching the airmail double registered rate, tied by Paklow (liberated on Nov 30) bilingual cds. Although this cover was paying airmail rate, as the planes and faciliies in Nanning Airport already retreated, this cover could only be deliered via express mail. Ex Mr. Patrick Choy's Collection.
