1949 (Dec 12) Chinese style cover from Szechuan Tseliutsing to Shanghai, f.w. Domestic Ordinary Mail Unit Stamp 1st opvt. "Tseliutsing", tied by Szechuan Tseliutsing cds. On reverse with Chungking transit and Shanghai arrival cds. This type of ovpt. issue was produced between 21 Jun and 7 Jul 1949 by West Szechuan PO in order to restrict the speculation due to hyper-inflation, however its usage was soon terminated in Jul. This cover, on the other hand, was sent 7 days after liberation of Tseliutsing on 5 Dec 1949. Extraordinary item of this ovpt. issues. Only existing usage example after liberation.
