1949 (Aug 18) Hupeh Ichang to Shanghai cover, f.w. Hwa Nan Print SYS Silver Yuan 1c x 3 and 4c on reverse, tied by Hupeh Ichang cds. Ichang was liberated on 18 Jul 1949. This example showed that silver yuan issues were still applicable even one month after liberation. Ex Mr. Patrick Choy's Collection.
