1897 (Dec 4) Hong Kong QV 4c postal card from Foochow to Russia, via Hong Kong, bearing an originating Foochow Dollar cds., postage canceled by Hong Kong cds., along with Russia arrival cds. Russia was a rare destination for China Imperial Post before the inauguration of Trans-Siberia Railway mail route. Therefore, transition at Hong Kong was required.
