1939 (Mar 26) Incoming airmail cover from German occupied Vienna to Shanghai, f.w. German 60pf, tied by Vienna cds., along with German airmail label, circular Athens air sorter and f.w. SYS 5c for charge of Poste Restante, tied by Shanghai cds. On reverse with Athens, Hanoi Tonkin, Hong Kong transit and Shanghai arrival cds. This cover was first delivered by Lufthansa to Athens, then by KLM to Bangkok, Air France to Hanoi and Hong Kong and finally arriving at Shanghai by ship. Excellent example of WWII airmail to China.
