A group of five 1938 German-language Tientsin-Pukow Railway interest-free sterling funding certificates (Anteilschein), including £12 examples,

together with a 1937 Deutsch-Asiatische Bank receipt issued on behalf of the Chinese Government for coupons of the 5% Tientsin-Pukow Railway loans of 1908 and 1910, all printed in German with serial numbers, signatures and seals, relating to the later settlement and restructuring of Chinese railway foreign loans, a useful reference group for the study of China’s railway finance history.
