featuring Canton Steamer Wharf, harbourfront piers, steamers, small craft and busy waterfront activity, together with Star Ferry Wharf and Queen’s Building views, presenting active maritime and urban life in early Hong Kong, all used, some toning and wear, VF-F.
the main focus of the lot is on Hong Kong cathedral and church subjects, including Roman Catholic Cathedral, St. John’s Cathedral and stained glass interior views, with monochrome and colour editions from different periods, all used. VF-F.
showing street-level architectural views and urban commercial scenes in Central. All used and one with stamp off. VF-F.
the main focus of the lot is on Queen’s Road, Hongkong Club and Cricket Ground subjects, including harbourfront commercial buildings, cricket ground views and urban panoramas, all f.w. Hong Kong QV issues used to various overseas destinations. VF-F.
one depicting a street scene with buildings lining both sides and pedestrians moving along the roadway, the other showing Race Course with open recreational ground bordered by a curved stone embankment with surrounding structures and hillside beyond, both used with addresses crossed. VF-F. Very rare.
