including official AP Wirephoto press photographs of her visit to the United States, meetings with Eleanor Roosevelt and foreign dignitaries, wartime relief activities, public speeches, and ceremonial presentations during the Second World War period. An interesting photographic group documenting the international public image and diplomatic activities of Madame Chiang.
together with a portrait photograph of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. The group photograph bears the inscription “紀念總理逝世週年,” and shows uniformed youths with musical instruments assembled for a memorial gathering. An interesting group relating to Kuomintang patriotic activities and the commemoration of Sun Yat-sen during the Republican era.
