Includes portraits of students and officials, foreign visitors at temples, naval and commercial personnel, and architectural views from major treaty ports. Period captions such as “Tientsin August 1901,” “Chamber in a Temple at Cheung Chow,” and “Flowery Pagoda Canton” indicate locations from Tianjin to Canton (Guangzhou). The images vividly record Sino-Western interaction and local life during the post-Boxer and early modernization period. Light toning and minor wear, overall well-preserved and historically significant.
