The 2nd issue 1/2c was supposed to be issued with black design on rose paper or red design on yellow paper while this lot contains a example of black design on orange native paper (plus a normal stamp for comparison). MH with original gum. A great LPO rarity, either a trial printing or an error, and possibly unique. Missing in the collection of Richard Canman, W.L. Chow, William Fletcher etc.
MNH without gum as issued. Stamps of Wuhu LPO were mainly prepared by the Lithographic Society of Shanghai. Typographed 6c is rarely seen with or without overprint. Missing in the collection of Richard Canman, W.L. Chow, William Fletcher etc.
bearing Chefoo dollar origin cds., uprated by Japanese 1s x 2, tied by faint Japanese PO cds. The wrapper front only. F-VF.
