On front with Sheungchak registered label in English covered Chengmuishi registered mark in Chinese, along with Kwangtung Kongmoon transit. As Chengmushi is a small town, only Chinese registered mark was available and it was against the UPU regulation. Therefore, Sheungchak registered label in English was supplemented afterward.

This cover was first sent to Hong Kong by ship, then to Cairo and Brindisi by airmail and finally arriving at Denmark by Italian railway. The train trip had taken 23 days because the German Army had invaded Denmark on Apr 9th, 1940.

This cover was sent via Pacific and Altantic Ocean as the German invaded U.S.S.R. and made Trans-Siberian route no longer available since Jun 1941. However, this route was also not availalbe after the outbreak of Pacific War in Dec 1941. Therefore, examples of this short-lived route are rare.
