1950 (Jan 6) Kwangtung Chikan to Peking Silver Yuan cover, franked on reverse Kwangtung Silver Yuan 2.5c, mathcing the printed matter postage. Chikan was liberated on 1949 Nov 1 and Beijing was liberated on 1949 Jan 31. This is a proof that the post office in Pearl River Delta area still accepted Silver Yuan postage after 2 months of liberation.
