1903 a group of 3 covers and picture postcard to England via French PO, sent from Kwangchengtze, Tientsin and Shanghai respectively, all f.w. CIP issues, bearing Shanghai or Tientsin French PO transit cds. Rare earliest Trans-Siberian Railway mail via Chinese Imperial Post from Kirin (i.e. Kwangchengtze). Kwangchengtze and Shanghai mails used Shanghai - Vladivostok route with 28-30 days of transit while the Tientsin cover used Tientsin - Port Arthur route with 24 days of transit.
