1903 (Aug 12) Picture postcard from Shanghai to Austria, f.w. CIP 4c, tied by Shangai bisected bilingual cds (with numeral replacing year on the cds), along with Shanghai French PO transit and Vienna arrival cds. According Paul K S Chang's book, bisected cds. with numeral replacing year was used from 1904 onward. Therefore, it is a very early example of this type of cds.
