1939 (Jun 12) Yunnan Hsichow to England airmail cover, f.w. SYS 5c x 8 and surch 10c x 5, tied by Yunnan Hsichow cds., endorsed "via Imperial Airways from Rangoon" remark and Tali transit cds. On reverse with Marseilles transit mark. Despite the remark, this cover was sent to Hanoi by train and then to Marseille by Air France, probably because the postage was insufficient or the Bruma route was more difficult to travel.
