1893 a pair of Chefoo to USA combination cover, via Shanghai, bearing blue (Sep 20) and pink (Dec 19) oval Chefoo Local Post datestamps, the pink one with original stamp off and the blue one with a tiny "PAID" mark, , both with additional franking of US 5c stamp, canceled by Shanghai US Postal Agency markings. The blue one also with Shanghai LPO transit cds. A nice pair showing the different use of colour of Chefoo Local Post oval datestamps. VF-F.
