CIP 1c in pair, tied by unclear Shensi (probably Hanchungfu) cds., with stamps off, along with Shensi Sian, Peking (Wu), Hong Kong transit, "Insufficiently addressed / E.C.I." cachet and scarce "REEXPEDIE" cachet. On reverse with multiple overlapping cds including Tuticorin, Anapur, London, Hanchungfu, Hankow and several other unclear cds. Rare and intriguing redirected letter sent from China to India, then redirected to Britain and finally back to China. Fascinating postal route for further study. F-VF.
