Silver dollar franking covers in ROC period from the Yunnan & Kweichow region - 1949 (Nov 16) double-registered cover sent from Huaning County, Yunnan, from Hsincheng village (a remote area) to the Yunnan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs,
f.w. Silver Yuan 35¢ postage. It arrived at the Kunming Post Office on Nov 19 and was received by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs on Nov 21 of the same year. Bearing postmarks of “雲南華寧戳” and “昆明到達戳”, as well as two registration “R” handstamps. Well preserved and a very scarce example.
