comprising a finely printed portrait titled “Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek” (No. 104), published by Graphic Post Card Co., New York, after a drawing by Morris J. Kallem; together with a picture postcard depicting Chiang smiling in traditional Chinese attire, published in France by Cie des Arts Photomécaniques, Paris, and captioned “TCHANG KAI CHEK, Président de la République de Chine.” Both unused, the former with mild toning, the latter with minor creases and handling wear. A cross-cultural pair of Western-issued portraits of the Chinese Nationalist leader, notable for their distinct artistic and documentary styles.
