Former was sent via Shanghai - Vladivostok route with 26 days of transit, being the earliest recorded Trans-Siberian Railway packet via Chinese Imperial Post and French PO.
The latter, on the other hand, was sent via Tientsin - Port Arthur route with 22 days of transit which is also an early example of the type.
