1949 (Nov 5) Canton to Taipei Silver Yuan cover, arrived on 1950 (Nov 30), f.w. Kwangtung 15c x 1, matching domestic airmail postage, tied by Canton cds., with Taipei arrival cds. on reverse. Canton was liberated on 1949 (Oct 14). This is the last post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan and is the cover took longest time (391 days) to Taiwan. Hard to check what happened to this cover. We can only assume that it was mislaid in Canton post office and was found at a much later date before delivery to Taiwan.
