1949 (Jul 30) Nanchang to Shanghai Silver Yuan cover, f.w. Kiangsi Domestic Unit stamp, tied by Nanchang cds., with Shanghai arrival cds. on reverse. This cover is the proof that by June 1949, the People's Liberation Army was in complete control of the postal routing downstream Yangtze River. Nanchang was liberated on May 22. This is a post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan Unit stamp.
