1924 (Aug 13) Weihaiwei registered to Shanghai postcard, franked on reverse Hong Kong KGV ovpt. CHINA 20c, tied by Weihaiwei Port Edward Br. PO cds., on front with PORT EDWARD registered cachet "R/PORT EDWARD/No.1335", Shanghai transit and arrival cds. This registration handstamp ended its use in Sept 1930 closure of the post office in Port Edward. VF.
