1905 (Aug 5) imcoming postcard from Melbourne Australia to Canton, f.w. South Australia Victoria 2d, with Hong Kong transit cds. on reverse. A clear arrival cds. of Canton indexed A dated "5 Sp 5" is shown on address side. According to Webb, the figure "0" in the year was omitted in 1905 and 1906 for a short period. The earliest date known recorded by Webb was "25 September 5". Cancellations with index letter A are rarer.
