1904 (Mar 28) red band cover from Kiaochow double registered to Tsingtau, addressed to Mr. Baurath Hildebrand, head of Kiaochow-Tsinan Railway, f.w. CIP x 12 on reverse, in total rate of 28c, tied by very clear Shantung Kiaochow lunar year cds., along with Kiachow bisected transit cds. and Tsingtau German PO arrival. On front with registered mark. A very early use example of lunar year cds. Probably the earliest one with AR double registered. VF-F.
