1900 (Dec 12) red band cover from Nanking double-registered to Peking, franked on both sdies with CIP 4c x 3 & 1c, tied by Nanking bisected cds. On front with a “R" cachet, on reverse with Chinkiang, Shanghai transits and Peking oval arrival cds. This cover arrived Peking PO on the second day of the re-opening of Peking after Boxer Uprising.
