1888 (Sep 20) incoming cover from England to General Arthur Sandbach, Sikkim Field Force,

f.w. QV 1p x 5, tied by barred 181 obliterator and Abergele cds. On reverse with Egypt Sea PO (Sep 27) transit. This is one of the earliest known covers into Tibet, reflecting the Sikkim expedition in 1888.
