1949年8月17日湖北宜昌寄上海銀圓封，背面貼重慶華南版孫中山像基數銀圓郵票1分3枚及4分1枚，合7分銀圓，其時軍管會採用國統區銀元郵資，所以郵資應為平信5分，另溢貼2分資費，銷湖北宜昌日戳，旁蓋上海到達戳。宜昌於7月18日已解放，此乃解放後沿用基數票的例子。
franked on reverse Chungking Huanan Print SYS Basic Stamp 1c x 3, 4c x 1, total value 7c Silver Yuan, matching the domestic ordinary 5c postage, the 2c was over-franked, tied by Hupei Ichang cds., along with Shanghai arrival cds. Ichang was liberated on Jul 18. This is a post-liberation usage example of Basic Stamps.
