1898年11月日本UPU3錢國際郵資片加貼5厘票2枚，實寄澳洲，後來沒有使用日本的郵資，再加貼蟠龍4分票1枚和香港2先票2枚，分別銷廣州大圓戳和香港日戳，另有澳洲到達戳。此片寄出前應誤以爲寄到美國，因此貼上日本票擬經日本客郵局轉遞，後來才發現是寄新南威爾斯（N.S.W.），所以再加貼香港票經英國客郵局轉遞，由是形成了有趣的三國郵票混貼郵品。

uprated by Japan 1/2s x 2, but not canceled, then mixed franking with CIP 4c & Hong Kong QV 2c x 2, tied by Canton Dollar cds. and Hong Kong cds. Respectively, Sydney arrival cds alongside. Interesting. VF-F.

f.w. ICP 1c and 2c (domestic printed matter rate) tied by Foochow dollar cds. Insufficient postage for foreign mail was noted and uprated by ICP 5c and 10c, tied by Pakua cancel. Along with Japanese Koban 4s x 2 and 10s, tied by Shanghai Japanese PO cds. Rare combination cover of ICP and Japanese issues.
