1880 (Feb 19) Hong Kong QV 4c grey postal card, sent from Hong Kong (GPO) to Brisane, Australia, cancelled by B62 killer, and Hong Kong cds. (Feb 19) alongside. No postal card rate was indiciated in the 1880/2/1 Hong Kong - Queensland Convention, so apprarently sent at the 4c per 2 ounce rate, carried by the Australian contract packet "Normanby", the back of the card bearing preprinted "Post Office Sonnet" sent by Hong Kong GPO to Brisbane GPO. Unique use of this 4c Grey QV postal card in 1880 and the earliest recorded use of ALL QV postal cards.
