1950年3月14日台北美國領事館外交檔袋，透過外交郵袋航空寄美國華盛頓，貼孫像東北44元改台幣票3枚，包括一件紅色5分雙連，其中左邊一枚為難得的“矮伍”變異，右邊為正常“伍”字，銷華盛頓機器日戳，旁蓋郵件由貼票國寄出指示章。50年代台灣實寄封，“矮伍”變異票封為大名譽品，貼雙連票有一枚正常票作比較者更爲難得，而經外交郵包寄出的實寄封簡直就是可遇不可求的大珍品了。 f.w.
