a pair of Hong Kong QV 5c issues added and re-addressed for onward journey, re-addressed countries included Guatemala and Liberia where affixed with respective stamps and finally back to Munchen (1898,12 Jun), displaying a fantastic array of markings including Singapore, San Francisco, New Orleans, Panzos, Lisbon, Grand Bassa and Liverpool. A fashionable and remarkable mail item of the era.
