1897年4月24日美國2分郵資片美國傳教士 Rev. Amzi C. Wright 從浙江揚州寄去美國加州，銷上海美國客郵局複式戳，旁蓋鎮江海關日印（4月25日）、上海海關日戳，加州到達印保存完好。揚州此時尚未開郵政局，所有郵件須遞送集中於鎮江就不同郵政系統及客郵局進行處理，這是一件重要的美國客郵及中國海關郵政史材料。
