1898年兩件威海衛寄英國封，一件於8月8日寄自英國戰艦Crafton（此封左上角破損），為租借威海衛時之英國旗艦。另一件於9月22日寄自威海衛專差郵局。兩件均貼蟠龍票，銷煙台大圓戳。前者有可能為英租威海衛之最早郵品。
