1913年10月4日中華時報報紙封皮自天津寄青島海關稅務司，單貼蟠龍2分票，銷天津半切漢英日戳，背面蓋有10月6日膠州半切到達戳。儘管日本出兵入侵青島取替德國是在1914年，但這枚膠州半切日戳記錄中就沒有見過比這枚更晚了，此為日本佔領青島前最晚日期之例子。
