清代外債債券一組四件，包括1896年帝國中國政府5厘金債券50鎊一件，以及1898年帝國中國政府4厘半金債券25鎊、50鎊及100鎊各一件，均由德華銀行經辦，印有英文及德文條款、中文官印與簽署，雕版精美，為晚清外債金融及中外銀行關係之代表性實物資料。
comprising one 1896 Imperial Chinese Government 5% Gold Loan bond for £50, and three 1898 Imperial Chinese Government 4½% Gold Loan bonds for £25, £50 and £100 respectively, each issued through the Deutsch-Asiatische Bank with English and German text, Chinese official seals and signatures, finely engraved and representative of late Ching foreign finance and Sino-foreign banking history.
