1940年（昭和15年）浙贛作戰期間731部隊（石井部隊）寄日本軍事郵便明信片，寄件人為「石井（四）部隊技師濱田稔」，寄往京都帝國大學理學部植物學教室。濱田稔戰後任京都大學農學部教授。原寄件日期為昭和15年10月3日，後改為7月，以避軍郵便檢查。片背印浙江紹興香爐峰景，正位於當時浙贛作戰戰區。 731部隊相關郵件實物極為稀罕，多數資料早已銷毀，此片人事、時地考證明確，為日本細菌戰部隊郵史與抗戰史研究之珍貴實物。
the sender was “Technician Hamada Minoru, Ishii (No. 4) Unit,” addressed to the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Kyoto Imperial University. Hamada later became a professor at Kyoto University’s Faculty of Agriculture after the war. The original mailing date “October 3, Showa 15” was altered to July to evade military postal inspection. The reverse depicts Xianglu Peak at Shaoxing, Zhejiang, located within the Chekiang–Kiangsi battle zone. Postal material relating to Unit 731 is extremely rare, as most records were destroyed. This card with verified identity, time, and location, is an important historical artifact for the study of Japan’s bacteriological warfare unit and the Sino-Japanese War.
