1888年11月25日蕪湖寄日本京都府小龍混貼封，混貼小龍3分銀直雙連及日本小判5錢，分別銷紅色蕪湖海關日戳及IV型上海日本客郵局日戳，另有上海海關日戳、神戶中轉和丹波到達戳。 IV型上海日本客郵局日戳混貼小龍封存世僅見，另外，此封上雙連小龍3分銀票鮮紫紅色票從未見過新票或舊票，附一枚正常顔色3分銀票作比較。水原明窗《華郵集錦》第2部第3冊第70頁實物。
mixed franking with Small Dragon 3Cd pair and Japan Koban 5s, tied by red Customs Wuhu cds. and type IV Shanghai IJPO cds. respectively, cover also bearing Customs Shanghai, Kobe transit and Kyoto arrival cds. This is the only known type IV Shanghai IJPO cds. combination Small Dragon cover. The 3Cd pair are bright mauve colour, neither mint nor used in the same colour has ever been found.
