1896年8月19日福州書信舘寄美國混貼封，混貼福州書信館1分及日本小判5錢票各一枚，分別銷福州書信館及上海日本客郵局日戳。背面另蓋橫濱、三藩市中轉戳及紐約到達戳。上品。

mixed franking with Foochow LPO 1c and Japanese Koban 5s, tied by Foochow LPO and Shanghai IJPO cds. respectively. On reverse with Yokohama, San Francisco transit and New York arrival cds. VF-F.

1894年九江書信館第二版半分新票，印於淡橙紙上。第二版半分票分別為黑色墨印印於玫紅紙上，或紅色墨印印於黃色紙上。然而此項拍品包含一枚黑色墨印印於橙色土紙上（另附一枚正常票作對比），原膠背貼。不論是試印票或錯體票，均為地方書信館票之一大珍品，於Richard Canman、W.L. Chow、William Fletcher等人的集藏中均從缺。

The 2nd issue 1/2c was supposed to be issued with black design on rose paper or red design on yellow paper while this lot contains a example of black design on orange native paper (plus a normal stamp for comparison). MH with original gum. A great LPO rarity, either a trial printing or an error, and possibly unique. Missing in the collection of Richard Canman, W.L. Chow, William Fletcher etc.

MNH without gum as issued. Stamps of Wuhu LPO were mainly prepared by the Lithographic Society of Shanghai. Typographed 6c is rarely seen with or without overprint. Missing in the collection of Richard Canman, W.L. Chow, William Fletcher etc.
