Dear collector friends,
The #331 John Bull Auctions were ended in keen competition on Jun 29th and from July 6th to 8th of 2019, and are so delighted to announce a total sale of HK$31,662,030 including buyer’s premium. I together with the John Bull team would like to share our pleasure with you and take this chance to thank you for your participation in the auctions, and make the event spectacular! Enclosed please find the prices realization of the sale.
This time we offered five auction catalogs, apart from the three general catalogs as always, we have two special auctions, namely The Expansive Collection of China Liberated Areas and PRC Stamps and Postal History, Fukui Kazuo’s Collection of Japanese Occupation of China Stamps and Postal History.
The fantastic results are further evidence the market for China Postal History as well as Hong Kong items are very strong, with prices realized much exceeding expectations. Auction participation has been extremely high with record levels of keen competitive bidders not only attended the auctions in the bidding room but also online around the world as well as on the other side of the telephone line. They drove up prices of many spectacular items for our loyal consignors. This bidders’ strength demonstrated reinforced confidence in the marketplace and presents a great opportunity for potential consignors considering the sale of their collection.
