1905 colour picture postcard from Tientsin to Madagascar, Africa and redirected to Marseille, France, Card was originated from Tientsin but without cancellation where stamps was affixed at back by sender and mistaken as taxed postcard. Arrived in Shanghai where Shanghai bilingual cds was cancelled. Card was sent via Shanghai French PO, Hong Kong, Colombo and Mauritius where respective cds applied. Redirected to France with arrival cds applied alongside. Rare usage of taxed become untaxed postcard to rare destination. Card toned. F-VF.
